has worked on numerous mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, from small-to medium-sized organizations to large corporates communications projects. She has academic degrees in Cultural Studies and Spanish language at the University of Amsterdam, and a post-doc Management Consultancy at Erasmus University.
At this moment Karien works on a Ph.D at Leiden University regarding the ‘Key success factors of stakeholder management in the context of a turnaround’. Karien speaks six languages: Dutch, English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. Karien is passionate about helping companies manage change so it supports their business objectives, inspires people, and elevates their reputation in the market.
